Transneft cuts Jan–Apr oil pumping for exports 4.4% to 75 mln tns
MOSCOW, May 8 (PRIME) -- Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft reduced pumping for exports by 4.4% on the year to 74.88 million tonnes in January–April, Igor Dyomin, adviser to the company’s president, told PRIME on Tuesday.
Transneft accepted 149.078 million tonnes to its system from Russian oil producers in the period, down 1.7% on the year.
Supplies to domestic oil refineries grew 1% to 80.7 million tonnes.
Vice President Sergei Andronov said in January that Transneft plans to pump 226.8 million tonnes of oil for exports in 2018, down from 233.8 million tonnes in 2017.
Oil exports to China via pipelines rose 47% on the year to 12.4 million tonnes in January–April, Dyomin also said.
